Bro. Fred reminded us that the cross isn't silent—it speaks a message that still echoes through time. Like the young woman who texted her late father's phone for years and received an unexpected reply from a stranger she kept alive with her messages of love, the cross sends us a message: "I love you, I forgive you, and I'm not done with you yet." God didn't wait for us to get our act together—He moved while we were helpless, ungodly, and enemies of God.
